1. Omni modality: the “o” in GPT-4o means it accepts and generates any combination of text, audio, and images, which makes this the strongest and most versatile model yet!

2. Performance and cost: GPT-4o is 2x faster and 50% cheaper than GPT-4 Turbo​​. If you have an app that uses GPT4, you just got a 50% discount. 🙂 

3. Available on the free plan: free users of ChatGPT can now access GPT-4, Vision and Voice features, GPTs, and the GPT Store​ without a Plus plan upgrade.

4. MacOS app: a new MacOS app is now being made available, and it is magical. You can have ChatGPT open on your desktop at all times, and it can help you with what’s on your desktop with its vision features.

5. Live video recognition: ChatGPT can now see and process live videos through your camera in real-time. No more uploading static images, it can watch and talk to you while things are changing in real time.

1. Live translation: you can ask ChatGPT to translate between you and others while you speak different languages in real-time.

2. Voice mode on Mac: with the Mac app you can now have conversations with ChatGPT straight from your Mac​.

3. Voice activation: another assistant will now wake up while you watch movies or talk to someone at home. Watch out for the phrase "Hey, ChatGPT" which will trigger ChatGPT to start listening to you.

4. Voice interactions: ChatGPT was already very good in conversation, things just got a bit crazy now. If you watched the movie Her, it now feels like you are talking to a real person on the other end just like in the movie. ChatGPT is able to detect and use language nuisance, convey emotions, sarcasm, etc.

1. New UI: ChatGPT UI is getting an updated UI to allow more more natural and conversational interactions.

2. Stronger in math and data analysis: ChatGPT has been studying and is now much stronger at solving math problems.

3. Wordly: now speaks and understands 50 languages!

So that’s nice, what does it all mean for you and your business? Here are some use cases for you to start thinking about:

1. Call Center Operator: use ChatGPT as your call center operator for level I and maybe even level II support. With its ability to absorb knowledge and interact with a natural voice, this use case is getting closer and closer to reality.

2. Sales or Business Development Representative (SDR/BDR): ChatGPT can be a great SDR/BDR, especially if the first call is just a qualifying call that is then passed on to a closer.

3. Field Support: if your business has folks in the field fixing things, they can now have ChatGPT watch what they are doing and walk them through steps on how to assess an issue and fix it.

4. Live Monitoring: ChatGPT can live monitor activity and report anything that looks suspicious or out of the ordinary.
