But when I do, I forget half the details about my business and end up with off-target suggestions. ❌

If you’ve been reading GPT Hacks for a while, you already know that context is key when using AI tools like ChatGPT or Bard. If you are one of the 756 new subscribers that just joined, welcome! You might want to take a quick peek at our article on context once you are done with today’s article.

Today, I am going to:

What is a Business Bit? 🚀

A Business Bit is a concise paragraph of text you should have for your business that you will use when working with an AI like ChatGPT, Bard, and others. Think of it, as your go-to reference to provide context to the AI, which will make the AI give you better responses that are relevant to your business.

This Business Bit should be saved in your favorite note-taking app (Apple Notes, Evernote, Notion, Google Docs, etc) and be easy for you to reach and reuse when needed.

I wouldn’t be surprised if our favorite AI tools will soon have a way to save this bit directly in the tool, but for now, let’s keep it in an easy-to-reach place.

Writing a Business Bit ✍️

To create your Business Bit, start by answering each of these questions in a list. Don’t worry about formatting just yet. We will ask an AI to help with that:

  1. What is your business?

  2. Who is your audience?

  3. What service, product, etc., do you offer?

  4. What problem are you solving?

  5. What are your goals?

  6. Anything else you find relevant that should be taken into consideration?

Once you have your list of answers ready, use the prompt below to get a concise paragraph and voila! You now have your Business Bit.
